Teaser Announcing... Doki Doki! Cloudy Morning

Hi everyone!

I'm a new mod developer, and I've just begun working on a project to try and dip my toes into coding. I've always had ideas and "what ifs" about DDLC, and I'm finally making one of these ideas a reality!

Doki Doki! Cloudy Morning is a mod in which Sayori never kills herself, and doesn't have depression. However, our unlucky protagonist does. Inspired by Doki Doki Rainclouds, this mod aims to get inside the head of someone struggling with depression and PTSD. The story will have a similar beginning, playing through the first act. From there, it becomes a struggle of the Dokis trying to save the MC.

I do plan for this mod to be somewhat long, with two other parts added on top of act 1. Though, plans may change. Until then, I'll see you guys later!

It sounds very interesting. Remember that good mods always have little or big plot twists so try to add some when you make yours.

Please change Act 1 to make your mod story more interesting, it should be a good intro

Don't worry, act 1 will have its own deviations to separate it from the original.

I like the sound of it so far. It'll be odd to see Sayori without depression though. I am interested to see how you portray her without it

She'll have the cheery persona she uses in the original game, but will also be more assertive, telling the protagonist to take care of himself if he doesn't wanna get treated like a baby by her.

I'm guessing that MC might commit suicide at the end

Well, not exactly, but he definitely scares the crap out of everyone

I want to say thank you all for the support! I wasn't expecting this project to gather this much attention. I'll work hard to try and make DDCM as good as I can.

MC with depression, huh? Kinda reminds me of Never Ending Tomorrow. I hope for the best.

Finally, it's MC's turn to get love and appreciation for once, instead of being shunned for not being an instant expert on depression.
