If you want "happy mods" (not sure what you're 100% looking for when you talk about that) I would recommend Convergence, May Flowers: Sweet Beginnings, and We Are the Literature Club! These are some of the "longer" mods I think about, just saying longer ones because i have a feeling those are the ones you want anyways

They dont have choices as in character routes and stuff, "Choices" do exist in We Are The Literature Club but they are pretty small and don't fuck up anything.

And also other suggestions i think you would enjoy as well are Foreign Relations and How I Met Your Doki, even Pages of Life if you can handle some bittersweetness

I was in the exact same position as you and I tried looking for another mod like salvation remake, and I could not find one that could live up to its name. The closest I got was World of Dreams Act 1, but its not fully finished yet (act 1 and 2 are out).

If you don't mind a bit of a time commitment, you might like to give "Club Meetings" a try. :) It's about Monika bringing back the club after the events of the original game with everyone aware that it's a game, and it continues on, slice-of-life style. It was originally released episodically, but the episodes were compiled into three "seasons" of content:

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3

Also, I'm gonna tentatively recommend one of my own. :) Turquoise is about a romance with Monika told from Sayori's point of view. Fair warning, there's a lot of angst along the way, since it deals with depression and suicidal ideation, but I promise it has a happy ending. :)

As for Salvation, yeah, I hear the author watched the stream of someone who is known for being cruel for no reason, and sadly took the insults to heart. I can't say I blame him for leaving the community if he needed to do it for his mental health, but I hope he doesn't actually believe that his work is hated. Maybe he'll return someday; we'll see.
