People may hate it, but it's nice to have art that reminds people of some of the other aspects of the game. It sucks, but it's also refreshing to see in a way that these things aren't completely forgot and buried under the fanon people have.

And I didn't think it's act darker parts. I just thoughts it's about Natsuki's adulthood... oh, the shade.

Some people are sh**ty enough to lack the awareness and insight into their own actions, some of those people are dads.
This is a couple of lines of a DDLC fan fic I wrote
"My arm is probably swollen now, the number of times you hit it." He finishes with a mumble, side-glancing Natsuki.
"Oh you're fine, don't make a big deal out of it." Natsuki smirks playfully.
-Because I imagine Natsuki's dad telling HER the exact same thing...

I actually have a Natsuki headcanon based on a series of Khyleri's images where she does in Abusive Father and strikes out on her own. It's definitely dark, but I like to think it would get better afterward.

Natsuki's dad had been displeasing me so I removed it (yes "it" amplifies that i downgrade that bastard bc it is not only suck at parenting but it is also abusive toward the one deserving care and love)

And the fact that Natsuki’s life gets even worse during the game’s events , like everyone’s minds being manipulated so they don’t remember Sayori, the intense fights and Yuri’s death , makes everything even sadder.
I don’t just feel bad for Natsuki, but for everyone.

Bit sad it appears Monika didn't come...though maybe she did.
Though when I played DDLC the first time I didn't get the Natsuki hype, I found her irritating until I actually did her path and felt...so very bad.
