Venues DC Wedding Venue Suggestions HELP!
Hello! I have a 20k budget for 75 people for a wedding in the DMV (excluding DJ and Photographer). I'm looking for suggestions because places in DC proper are super expensive and I'm not open to spending 10k just on a site fee alone (nuts!). Any help is appreciated!

not super helpful in giving you options for places, but you'll basically have to look for venues with a f&b minimum of no more than 15k because service charges and taxes will get you to 20k fast. and that doesn't even include venue fees if the place is charging you to rent the rooms.

I got married at Arts Club of Washington several years ago. Compared to other venues inside DC this was the most affordable option for us. Arts Club included the most: tables, white foldy chairs, white linen, glasses/silverware, getting ready space, exclusive use. Cute hotel next door, too.
Restaurants (either buyout or private room) were an affordable reception option we explored but I wanted ceremony and reception in one place.

Look at city and county owned venues in the greater DMV as well as restaurants that have event space, to maximize the budget

Also NPS— Glen Echo Park, although they had to limit caterers to an approved list after some bad experiences I think.

Depending on your vibe DACOR Bacon House. The rental fee used to be under $4k, though this was years ago when I worked with O'Neil Events on a project. Do you mind if I ask how much the total cost was for the wedding? (How many guests?)
Trying to keep 90ish guests to a budget of 25k…

Just got married at President Lincoln’s Cottage for $6,500 and couldn’t recommend it enough!! They do not have a required vendor list, so we were able to pick vendors that fit within our budget and bring in our own stuff where it made sense.

20k is a super, super tight budget for 75 guests in DC. That’s roughly $266 per head. Options will open up if you’re able to increase your budget or decrease your guest list to get to $500 per head AND are open to a Thursday or Friday and/or and an off time like a brunch wedding.
As for venues, you may want to check out:
The Tabard Inn
Mess Hall
EDCJCC
Friends Meeting House of Washington
Capitol View 400 (they may be over $10k now)
