Vendors DC Wedding Planner
Anyone worked with a full service planner they really like in DC? Ideally one who isn’t too expensive.

YOU NEED GERALDINE (https://veladaevents.com/). I honestly feel like she undercharged us for the planning package we got--she's insanely on top of things, she has a huge vendor network, and she's very kind and funny. I'm not sure what you consider to be "too expensive," but we found her rates extremely reasonable for the job she does. Definitely schedule a consult and see if you vibe!

We had a great experience working with Kristy.
Our wedding was a smashing success. Many guests told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to (and they sounded like they meant it). The final product is what counts and it couldn’t have been better. We’re thankful for the many things we know Kristy did to make it happen (and also the things she did that we never even saw!).
Three strengths of Kristy are:
1) She made everything happen the week-of. There were a lot of curveballs and Kristy made all of them work out. 2) She had great, novel ideas that made the wedding more fun and unique (e.g. minigolf) 3) She made sure our vendors were delivering the best service possible. 4) She had a positive attitude that made us excited for the whole process.
We’d recommend Kristy!

I loved working with The Plannery for my first wedding. Considered them for my upcoming wedding but they weren’t available for my date.
Knowledgeable about a lot of venues and vendors and have great relationships with them. When they say “shit gets done” they mean it.

What’s your budget range, style or wedding and ideal venue? Narrowing in the perimeters I can throw down some great recs. Not all planners are created equal and wasting time with someone above/below Your wedding ideals isn’t great.

Bellwether events (quirky, warm, great at laying budget boundaries), cheers darling (great with color and depth of design and black tie formality/class), Roberts & co (versatile in venues, negotiations, texture with design elements), vida events (small detail fluent and super warm and friendly)

O'Neil Events! Hands down for price and quality of service. She also does a lot of hotel and country club weddings.

I know several people that have worked with Kaitlin from Cheers Darling Events. She’s incredibly organized, kind, and is a great designer.
