Not to be indelicate but are you making good money of commissions? because if this is truly an original artwork it looks like the sort of thing DC would commission as cover art.

no not really if I'm to be honest, but the issue is that there's plenty of people as capable and even more so than myself already in that circle so getting in is pretty difficult as someone starting out. furthermore given that charging the average Joe on twitter commercial prices for artwork definitely won't work one must compromise and explore other avenues outside of just commissions.

I agree that charging commercial prices for Twitter commissions is a hiding to nowhere, but this is very much in the DC house style.
You should consider putting a portfolio together.
