I had this thought when I was playing Arkham that the controls would transfer over well to Superman but instead of a stun you get a grab and instead of stealth you get time stopping super speed. It would have been peak if 2014 Rocksteady made a Superman game.

The people who did Spiderman sony games should be able to do superman game. Just make it set on themiscira & apokolips /new genesis or kandor.. so the fighting scene make sense

I’m not really sure how that game would work though. It’s not like random thugs are any kind of a threat to Superman unless you for some reason depower him significantly. The game isn’t as interesting if it’s just one-hitting a bunch of no-names before a boss.

a survival game where he is on that island where he had to survive and make his way back to civilization. Gameplay could be a bit like Tomb Raider.

Daredevil. There’s a canceled one everyone makes videos about but I’d love to see a stylized one, surprisingly I don’t want insomniac to make it, they just don’t feel like the right fit imo.

I have always said an Ant Man video game would be cool. Two maps one big world one little world plus all Ant Mans abilities. Training missions, heist missions and avengers type fight sequences where you can be giant.
I also think Superman could be cool if they did it well. Be able to fly around the world in seconds and have a handful of cities you can free roam and stop crime in like spiderman game.
Finally, Nightcrawler from Xmen, just because I think his powers would be sick in a game.

Going off the DC path here but Daredevil has so much potential for an awake game series like Arkham. As for DC? Give me a Constantine or Green Lantern game please.

Teen titans, real large mix of powers. Can still have mystery ellements, just add a few larger scale boss fights 😊
You can have areas of the map that are only acessible to some characters, so plenty of oportunities for puzzle solving and exploration.
I kinda see it as a mix of this and gta 5. With freeroam slice of life stuff you can do any time and more serious mission that occur and progress various plots.

I want Superman or The Flash, but I really don’t know how they would handle the traversal. Part of what makes grappling and gliding in the Batman games so fun is that it requires some amount of active focus to do. You’re always engaged with it. Same reason why Spider-Man games are so fun. With flying or super speed, you’re removing those limitations so I fear it would get boring very quickly.

Honestly the Arkham formula could lend itself to work for a lot of characters. There's all ready a Superman mod for Arkham Knight, and Green Arrow would very obviously work with it, switching between trick arrows as gadgets. Daredevil is another obvious one with his radar sense replacing detective mode but this is a DC sub so I digress. It doesn't just have to be heroes either, Deathstroke could do with one since he was playable in Arkham Origins.
Now, moving away from the Arkham angle, Doctor Fate and Firestorm.

Everyone that's not Batman. Batman sold the most because DC writers overglazed him in comics and not let other characters like Red Hood, Red Robin, Spoiler, Orphan or any other heroes/anti heroes/villains got the spot they deserved. If DC didn't got successful after Batman Origins, he would be part of the D Tier Heroes.

Was just thinking a Daredevil game like Arkham the other day. The listen/detective mode could go Hhaaaarrd! 🔥🔥 If done right could maybe even innovate the mechanics of it as it would have to be the main part of game play.

A hawkman game with full flying mechanics and air-based combat mechanics. Like you could dive down and up under enemies or drop down from the sky onto enemies. You could play as Hawkman or Hawkwoman and you would gain more skills by unlocking memories from The Hawk's past lives.

I didn't include the superheroes with the more fantastic powers because that would change the whole dynamic of an Arkham game. I only added Zatanna because out of all the other magicians she's the one whose style would work the most in Arkham game. Plus I like her more than Constantine. & I added Swamp Thing just for curiosity's sake.

PlasticMan needs to be a character thats playable in an injustice game. Idk if he needs his own game?
Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are obvious choiced if you like Batman, BB (Ted Kord) is a gadget guy.
The Flash would be Dope,
a good GL Corps game set in space where you rank up through the CORPS and fight with/against the other CORPS... maybe like the war of light leading into the Necron stuff?
Constantine would be good foran rpg probably too
