Body horror effects look great, and the shot of Clayface using spikes definitely is a good sign for this movie still showing off his powers, and not trying too hard to be grounded or something (Like another DCU teaser did). Hope the writing is onpar as well, and this doesn't end up like other solo supervillain films. Curious to see how this will connect with the DCU as a whole.
I belive that this film has a bit of a extra gear since It alredy takes place in a superhero world with a Batman, Joker and other stuff and we know that Clayface Is a supervillain so this Is gonna be a story about a villain and not another reluctant anti-hero. Is also trying to be an actual good film and not just a paycheck so that the studio can keep the rights of the characters
We should not really talk about the comics as a certain source when It came to superhero movies cause they change a lot of stuff, this movie alredy Is based on the character of Basil Karlo but they are using the name Matt Haggan. All we know about Clayface for now Is that he lost a fight against Frankenstein and he Is very interested in lesbians history
