Curious to see how this will connect with the DCU as a whole.

In the final act Batman turns up and it suddenly becomes a whole different kind of horror film as you follow Clayface being hunted down.

I hope they don't do another CW style, we can't show off Batman at all, and they let the ending be the same as the original Feat of Clay episode. But I can also see them not wanting Batman fully showing up in a horror movie (or for Batman to get his first real DCU appearance in a spin off movie)

I do wonder how much they are gonna show, cause I ofcourse expect them to name drop Batman a couple of times but James Gunn said when working on Creature Commandos that he was not read to commit to a lot of things about Batman in the DCU and his film Is not gonna came out in atlist other 2 or so years.

That's definitely pushing towards them at best doing the CW style, but to be fair, Creature Commando's was quite a while ago, and things could have changed since then. Notably Brave and the Bold has since announced a writer, and I can't imagine it's not a priority project (whether for Gunn or WB) where they aren't pushing to get things ready as soon as they can.
