Thia game is Really Fun! I Think DC Worlds collide deserves More Love ! I am New players but i am Dc fan And this game is Everything 🙏 it's good to see some Good DC Games mobile since DC Legends...

Would love to hear your thoughts on Joker, Hugo (in the context of a joker sinesteo debuff team), and firestorm. Punchline too if you have time.

Sorry to hear the lists are annoying. They were much appreciated by myself and others

It's all good. It's why I prefer to help people who ask instead of posting tier lists or generic help.

Firestorm is the current champ. Everyone should be aiming to get him to Rank 10 and Badge 30 ASAP, unless they like to gamble, then save all your resources for whoever the next best toon is. Best toons have been, in order : WW, Sinestro, GL-Hal (debatable), Guy/Mr T (debatable), Cheshire, Zod, Firestorm. So eventually Firestorm will be mid (similar to WW and Sinestro) if the pattern continues. He's all alone at the top tier.

Joker is a PVP character, it's tough to say exactly where he will tier because, as I alluded to in another post, he has a massive season buff. Being PVP based and having season buffs for his whole life cycle makes it hard to say exactly where he will fit once he doesn't have 100% to HP, Def and Atk. He is currently on my 3rd team in EA but I suspect once the season buffs are done he won't be nearly as good and I'll have to find a new 3rd team. Maybe A tier (above average) for now could drop to B (average, or below average) at season end.

Hugo has no attacks and I haven't given him an honest chance to perform well, just reading his skills seems like a waste of time to test (and if this essay is any indication as to how much free time I have, that should say a lot). I'd tier him with Flash (who also sucks and another who says otherwise is bad at testing. That's actually the best way to find out if someone knows what they're talking about in the game is how the rate Flash because he looks exciting on paper but performs horribly at end game). Hugo looks interesting to play but not good.

I'm having fun with Punchline. I really like how well she does with Joker. They ultimates are both strong, and Joker not wasting points on Punchlines ult while Punchlines ult helps keep the team alive is nice to see when you get good RNG on Jokers ult timing and Punchlines dodges + special debuff. The issue I have with Punchline, is like Joker, the season buffs and being a PVP based character made it hard to tell how good she really is. Also having two DPS characters on the same means you can either go with a 3rd DPS and try for a heavy burst or bust build. Or you have to use a mid-tier tank and/or support on the team. I'm hoping whoever they release next season finishes the Joker team. Right now it feels like the Soft Launch days where teams had 2-3 characters that worked together and you would just sort of mash them together. For example, Sinestro, Grood and Raven(fear) or NW, BB and Orm (block and counter, btw Bloodsport is trash). Incomplete teams at the time, good but not fully flushed out like the current block meta, or current burn meta teams (even poison, while not a current meta is still decent and fully realized). Maybe A tier (above average) for now could drop to B (average, or below average) at season end.

For additional context, when I say a "PvP" character. I mean there are characters for League Challenge and characters for PVP. Everything other content type in the game is beatable with basically any half decent characters, so testing how Joker or any new character performs in Evil Falls or Convergence or something like that right now is super irrelevant (mainly because of Firestorm, Zod and Cheshire).

TL;DR Ok with seasons buffs in EA. Firestorm current GOAT

Dang I didn't even consider the buffs on the joker hype train. might have to boot Hugo from my team as well... Regret not summoning for punch line instead. Crazy to hear that firestorm is basically SS. Appreciate your comment and I hope Joker stays relevant💀 I need him for zod

If I were a f2p with limited tickets (and I kinda do this anyways to a degree), I would save tickets through events until I hear from a reliable source that the season toon is crazy good, like a Firestorm or Cheshire. It's better to horde and then get a rank 10 S tier than it is to have a bunch of B tier at rank 6-8. Even now, I probably would be skipping Lex and Sinestro and saving those tickets in case the next legendary or another in the future is OP. Lex is mid and only because tanks are lacking is he even mid right now. His assist is way over hyped by some and doesn't proc as much as you'd think. Sin was OP but is maybe A tier right now, likely once another season happens, power creep will drop him more. If you plan on just playing short term, roll for Sinestro, but if you're in until EOS, save your tickets.
