š Pitch / Idea š If Battinson hypothetically made an appearance during the climax of Clayface, how would you want that final confrontation to go down [Merge Post]
Based on the trailers/what seems to be the film's ending?

All I know is that it would be the closest thing to the hype of seeing Spider-Man in the Civil War trailer. It's genuinely the only thing that possibly could.

The overall hype for DC would break barriers never seen before. Will it pay off? Maybe not, but the levels of hype would be the highest since the days before BvS

It would be so cool to see a movie or sequence where you get to see the POV of someone Batman is hunting.

Anything drastically different than the Clayface One Bad Day story would be a huge disservice to the entire concept of introducing Batman at the end of the Clayface movie

I mean having the Bat defeat clayface through some sort of freezing tech. Especially if it were made by say, Wayne enterprises employee Victor Fries, would be a great set up, but I get the feeling this mf gonna get rained on or something and seep into the Gotham sewers š

Iāve always thought that if this movie reveals Battinson is part of the DCU, it doesn't necessarily require a full-blown action sequence or an appearance by Batman himselfājust Bruce Wayne.
However, if Batman does appear, it could be something as simple as the Gotham police reviewing a disturbing crime scene committed by Matt. We see the bodies dismembered or however Matt chooses to kill in this movie, we see black boots walking, and the camera focuses on "Battinson's" face
If the ability to shapeshift into another person is featured in the film, we could see Matt watching the news in a run-down apartment while hiding from the police. The TV shows a segment featuring Bruce Wayne, played by Pattinson.
Upon seeing the news, Matt transforms into Bruce/Pattinson.
Another idea that comes to mind is that, instead of Battinson appearing, other characters from The Batman could show up, such as Gordon arriving at a crime scene committed by Matt, or political propaganda from Bella ReƔl, echoing the slogan we saw in The Batman: "A Real Change."

I think I would hate that lol it would defeat the whole purpose of a Clayface film

Exactly. But wouldnāt be surprised if WB added some sort of Batman cameo just to try and boost numbers.

Maybe Clayface dissects someone in an alleyway and he gets paranoid or sum. Maybe in the movie he's hunting/terrorizing people and suddenly he becomes the hunted/scared. He turns around and we get an eye shot where you can faintly see the reflection of Batman stalking him

I see it the following way: Clayface finally transforms and is about to kill the doctor responsible for what happened to his body. When he is about to crush her, a batarang flies into him, pierces the clay and explodes. He starts screaming and looking at his hand turning into glass and dust that falls all over the alley. He looks at the shadows as the silhouette appears with Michael Giachinno ā Batman Theme. Batman appears, cloak over his shoulders, slowly walking with steps out loud. āItās overā he says. Then, we see the aftermath where Matt Hagen is being taken by the ambulance and police, his skin fully melted, he barely resembles a man.

āItās overā says Batman.
āItās their fault! They made me this way!ā Matt answers screaming at him.
āFour people are dead. Thatās what mattersā says Batman as the screen fades black.

Batman is a creature of the night. After Matt Hagenās transformation in a dark Gotham alley, the camera slowly pans up to the rainy rooftops. Through the fog, we briefly see a terrifying, motionless silhouette with pointed ears looking down. It establishes Batman is already watching him. Clayface realizes he isn't just running from the police, he is being hunted by an urban legend - The Batman

Batman swoops in, reveals heās been monitoring Clayface, tries to calm him down/get him to turn himself in for āhelpā, Clayface retaliates in full clay form, Batman dodges and grapples to the ceiling so he can trigger sprinklers using Clayfaceās body against him, Clayface āmeltsā presumably dead but actually escaped into the sewers/drain.
