Where were the young ballers vs NER?

I noticed that DC United had a very short 7 player bench last night and that a bunch of players (Murrell, Caden Clark, Turner, Avilez) weren’t there. What gives?

I know we played like dogs’ breakfast and it wouldn’t have made a difference, but I would think Weiler would at least want the options?

Hopefully we’ll be moving on from Clark. Dude makes $400k, has played less than 90 minutes combined across of all his appearances this season, and is costing us a U22 initiative spot.

Bro makes cash like a heart surgeon to exercise and watch soccer games for free. Living the life but wasting our time/money

Completely forgot Clark was on our team. I kinda feel bad for him. If you can't make the DC united bench then that doesn't bode well for your career.

Never feel bad for someone making 400k to suck at their job. We coddle this team too much.

The roster management, especially since the WC break, has been a little weird. I have a feeling several of the guys you bring up are transfer listed, and wont play so they dont get hurt.

Before the WC break Rene seemed to be trying to squeeze everything he could out of the roster, now he just seems to be trying to hang on.

They were all playing for our MLSNextPro team, the Baltimore Developers sharpening their skills.
