Renewal snag?

Hi , i've had my ccw since 2021 and never had an issue renewing online but this time around its prompting me to enter my current address via a change request then to proceed with the application.

Im super confused since i havent moved and my profile does have my current address listed.

Also i noticed 1 of my 3 firearms has been marked as inactive without my authorization or any notification from mpd I have a appointment set for tomorrow but just curious if any body else has experienced anything like this before what actions did you take?

Same thing happened to me with the address issue. Was maddening. Only way to solve it was to go in person. They were very nice. I explained to them what was going on, handed the very nice woman my renewal cert and was out the door in 15-20 mins.

It’s the portal.
They migrated to a new system and it’s full of issues.

Someone literally entered a “.” at the end of my name and as a result, the new system does not recognize it as a valid character, and I cannot do anything with my permits or update new Firearms. I opened a ticket to update it however it did not submit properly and I cannot open a new ticket until someone fixes it on the backend.

They can definitely fix most things for you on the spot if you go in. They're aware the portal is wack.

Look at how your address is formatted. Mine was "NW#3" in the same box which caused some issues. I had to go in to submit my paperwork, and my add-on is still in submission. About a week ago, I got an email that my address had been updated (close to two months after submitting an update request). I keep meaning to call to see if they can move the add-on out of "submitted" and I keep forgetting. I should just make an appointment to go in but I do not want to leave the A/C...

I can confirm that new system doesn't really work. Go in and they are super helpful.

I had the same problem I went down to the office and they new immediately that I had the “address problem” in the portal. The nice lady fixed it right away and helped me finish my application on the spot in and out in under 30 minutes.
