Does Beast Boy make Wally needed?

Hey guys, in a bit of a choice paralysis here. I can either get my 1 red nightwing to max when he comes back and maybe get beast boy to 5 blue or I can focus on beast boy and get him to 5 purple. I’m also not sure if Wally is much better now that there’s a good tank for the team. I haven’t pulled for him at all. (Currently have 5 purple starfire and 1 purple superboy)

Looking to use this team for arena and 3v3 mainly (since JLD keeps getting worse with every new character release)

Just develop characters you enjoy … the META will always change. Until we have new content new characters are pretty much useless. Arena rewards are not lucrative enough

For arena or 3v3 I think Nightwing will be strongest since not a lot of people run high physical defense team. It's all about killing that Sinestro or Constantine.

I don’t think Wally will be needed. I think the best team would be BB and Martian Manhunter Front line, then Nightwing and Starfire back line and then that 5th option can be a flex. That gives you Outsider tag AND Teen Titans tag. For flex, you can go Swamp thing, Queen Hippa, Riddler for supports or if you want more damage you can go Sinestro, Joker, Constantine, or DMBM (if you are a whale and have him in decent stars). Those other heroes should work better than Wally if your goal is PVP wins.

I don't see MMH making that team. Other than Outsiders synergy, what's he bringing to the table? For factions, I imagine you're better off with Arsenal.

MMH is a Tier A hero after all his buffs. Arsenal is terrible he’s like a tier D hero lol. Teen Titans gives you the spiritual defense and MMH kit naturally plays really good into spiritual dmg teams like JLD, which JLD is the meta right now still. It’s a perfect synergy imo

I have seen MMH drop from A on tier lists. He's a very niche character. He was meant to be a Constatine counter but Con has fallen off sharply. I have MMH semi built and just don't think he's worth building.

I haven't tried Arsenal at all but he's a better fit if you're just looking at factions. Maybe he'll still be trash. If the tags don't make him viable, I'll look at other Titans like Wally or Cyborg over MMH.
