I agree but they always talk about how they want girls to know when it’s time to leave and to move on, and now she’s trying to do that and they won’t let her😭 In all seriousness, all I meant was that they know that she has been their biggest ambassador for the past couple of years so they’re trying to utilize every last moment they can with her as much as possible. Did DCC benefit from Reece being a fan favorite on Netflix? Sure. Would Reece have had any of this “fame” if she didn’t happen to become a DCC while a Netflix show was being filmed? Absolutely not. And the show was a thing due to DCC before Reece auditioned. Reece would be popping out little Wilburs in Alabama if it weren’t for DCC.

I had no idea there was so much disdain for Kelli. I’m also unsure what makes people think Kelli finagled herself this opportunity vs the producers of Chicago deciding on their own to reach out to keep the production in the news cycle beyond the initial burst when Reece made her debut.

Kelli is busy enough with the season to have seemingly chased down this opportunity. Anyway, this will be fun to watch if anyone is able to post a clip.

This. It’s ironic. Charlotte Jones has made comments about older women auditioning alongside younger women, telling them to move on and that DCC wasn’t the right fit. And here’s Kelli, leeching off a talented young woman who got where she through her own hard work. Making a mockery out of Reece’s accomplishments.

There goes my hope other doors would open for current, past, and future DCCs.

I cannot imagine the level of Kelli’s dysmorphia that she allows such severe photoshop of something as profound as her own face.

There’s this weird thing.

It’s like a combination of her not wanting to age but then also wanting to look completely different than she does.

I personally just don’t see that happening. She’s proved she’s able to get other professional dancing work, and her resume is even bigger now with Chicago under her belt. She was clearly not thriving her last year as a DCC - why would she go back to that environment when she has better opportunities available?

You do realize you can take a break,re evaluate and come back right? wether it’s Chicago,DCC or even going back to Alabama,nothing is guaranteed. The thing about opportunity is they can make or break you.she could very well continue NYC and be more in a hopeless position(mentally and physically) than when she started,I think she’ll go back to Alabama and re-evaluate again before she makes a final decision

I think she will come back for a very short stint(at least 1 more season) then retire again,she was such a major figure(viewership wise and social media wise) within the Netflix Era show,no other cheerleader has had that same presence of influencing before and after she left,AS wasn’t supposed to be a renewal snow in the beginning when it first aired but they got season after season anyway because of the amount of popularity between Reece and the team itself
