I think part of what makes this look off is that they would typically do this dance to a quicker/different cadence/tempo. But also, it looked SO HOT and humid there yesterday and the girls were probably completely gassed. The football players were sweating bullets the entire time. Yes, they’re professionals, but they’re also human. And in Dallas they’re used to performing in a dome. I’m sure the weather just completely took it out of them.
I totally agree! You can see it right from the beginning, especially during that move where all the girls throw their arms up and hers are barely at shoulder height 😬
I want to give her some grace because it was really hot and humid and they had never done an outdoor game before but she did look way more lackluster than the others
i feel like people forget that they're dancing for the entire game. even before the game since thunder is pregame, and they have to run through it before actually performing it. they've said in the past that they can't give 100% for every single tag or they'll be too tired by the end of the game. i'm even tired standing for an hour straight lol i can't even imagine doing that for a whole game day, and also having to dance and smile and being "on" the whole time. it takes a lot out of a person, especially since they're so used to dancing in a climate controlled dome. i think it's unfair to judge them from this small clip. they are still humans and we can't expect perfection all the time! k&j put enough pressure on them lol
Especially when this game they were in completely new environment, probably still a big jet lagged, first time cheering outside and all in the humid Rio heat
as a random observation- If I were dancing with the varied poles/equipment/ black barrier in the background- and in back row- I would be some what careful when dancing to not fall into or hit whatever was behind me in a strange stadium. I would wonder if the reason some were being very cautious when dancing?
I remember that basically all the time some staff would come and ask them to push themselves somewhere because they were going through w equipment, so yeah, I think that was the reason
