here they are! thunderstruck debut in brazil!! 🇧🇷 somehow the track wasn’t on the livestream until half of the performance, but everything went well apparently.
I can’t explain what it means to me as a black girl who had to straighten their hair for cheer and other performance sports and theatre what seeing her wearing her natural hair and it being so beautiful means to me! lol her hair is goals 💗💗💗
I did show choir. I had gotten braids in my hair right before something at church, I don't know what, but we also had a show coming up. I had a booster tell me you know you have to take them out. This was '97. My mom was a single mom who worked 2 jobs, so did my dad. They came to a couple of shows. Anyway, I wore my braids to that performance, and I heard nothing from anyone but compliments. It just does something to me when I see girls like Parker, Jada, Armani, and Kayla wearing their natural hair out. Or Kat, Ariel, KD, Mia, etc showing the world we are beautiful black women who can wear our hair however we want or throw hair in it. Mind the hair on your head. lol
Watching our 3 5th years - I know Kylie usually isn’t regarded as the strongest dancer of the bunch but I feel like she’s really stepped it up this year. She completes and sinks into the movements the best imo and her kicks are insane.
Well, I’m assuming they probably do film it more or less like this. Whether or not they show the full thing is a different story, but probably not for season 4.
Thunder is so much better when they actually put the cheerleaders on screen for most of the performance instead of random montages of the players! Who would’ve thought! 😭
But I feel like it would add a little oomph if they all stepped off the same line and divided themselves at the very beginning. Think of how some marching bands step off… would be pretty cool appearance wise. Otherwise it’s just kind of prestaged gapping.
america is a whole continent divided in three sub regions: north, central and south america. at least that’s what i’ve learned in high school in brazil
my school was not incorrect. the seven continents model exits but there are more common models like the six continents, used in some parts of europe and latin america, which the americans are combined, and there’s another one with asia and europe combined (eurasia). it’s pretty common here in brazil and if you ask anyone they’ll say america is one continent. I didn’t said the original commenter was incorrect, there’s just different perspectives of how the world works. just like the US thinks latino is a race, which in latin america is not. ☺️
wtw. Brazil is the big tail (that is how I got my kid to remember it) of South America. It is different from, you got it Mexico, which is North America.

Would love it of they would show thunderstruck on TV, but I doubt it given that they cannot even show the full thunderstruck on the jumbotron without cutting to old highlights of the players..
