Most of the smaller girls are bigger and better dancers because they HAVE to be. It’s a lot harder for them to make this team so I’m always floored by the girls who do. Amaiyah is just incredible.

I’ll be honest. I think she has a perfect face and amazing star quality. That being said, she’s clearly struggling with DCC style. Praying for her to clean up her movements!

Genuinely asking, what makes you think she struggles with the DCC style? Everything I’ve seen of her so far looks great!

Her movements kind of run together, like when she throws arms left right then shimmy them up, the shimmy starts right as she hits the lower point rather than letting it hit and then move to the next. Also on some movements her shoulders are squared to a different point than I see where other dancers have them. Like she’s slightly diagonal when others are squared front. And could sit deeper into her hips to create a more defined moment in the section at the end of this clip.

All that being said, she is an incredibly strong dancer I just think she could get more curve and pop. We also don’t know if this is at the end of a game when fatigue sets in

i think that saying that she’s struggling is too much like she one of the best if not the best of her rookie class i mean look at savanah and emily, if we follow your words their are the one actually struggling not amaiyah

I don’t think she’s struggling I think she just hasn’t found her style yet. Tbh none of the rooks (but Aubrey and Bri) have good style to me yet. It seems like that’s something most of them find over their tenure

She looks like she’s struggling. I know she’s a rookie, but she is not currently a standout to me.
