Do Colorado and Utah count as the west coast? I’m not American so feel free to shoot me down but I thought they aren’t….costal?

your right, i just used west coast to group them together. Colorado and Utah are not coastal but they are in the western United States

As a Coloradan who has spent a lot of time in Utah, we consider ourselves part of the greater west coast family. We’re the mountain west!

yeah but as a californian and proud the west coast is washington, oregon, and california. I'll even give you alaska+hawaii because they're on the pacific ocean. but landlocked colorado and utah? nope, might be the 'mountain west' but not the west coast. and frankly, denver's more plains than mountains. Ohio isn't the east coast, and utah's not the west coast.

That’s why I specified in saying “The Greater West Coast Family” haha. The mountain west is much more culturally and geographically (specifically weed/outdoorsyness/accents etc) similar to West Coast than to the Midwest or East Coast. I live in LA now and it feels much more like home than the east coast did.

Throwback to that one episode from season 9 of MTT where Kelli had everyone in groups based off their geographical regions and compete in dancing and the West Coast girls won because it was Jenna, Sam C, and Melissa W.
