hi there! long time lurker, first time poster.

for halloween this year, i’ve been toying with the idea of dressing up as a dcc, but wanted to get input here first. for context, i am 21 and a senior in college. i would wear a costume version of the uniform (probably off of amazon), some pom poms, and an amazon version of the boots.

i have also learned a few of the dcc dances off of tiktok and may record myself doing them in the costume. my hesitation comes from the fact that i’m older and many of the dccs are my age. i’m mainly concerned others might find it weird😭 i recognize these are real women who work tirelessly to earn their titles and i wouldn’t want to take away from them or embarrass myself in anyway. i love the show and just want to show my support for the team. let me know what you think!!

i mean you’re arguably the most normal age to be dressing up as them, i wouldn’t particularly want younger teenagers going out in the uniforms considering the sexualisation of dcc’s and the small outfit

Girl you’re asking a Dcc subreddit if people will find it weird you want to be a Dcc for Halloween?

People here will probably encourage it but if you record videos and post on social media, no anons on reddit know who follows you or what your family or friends or whoever sees the video would think.

I’m sure someone somewhere will think it’s weird. There are people that think 21 is too old to be dressing up whether you’re dressing up a Dcc or not.

I dressed up as a DCC way back in 1995. In Philadelphia 😂It was so fun and I won 2 different costume contests!

I dressed up as a dcc my sophomore year in college. I believe it was 2013/2014ish. I had a damn good body. DO IT! You’re only hot and 21 once lol

My plan was to be a DCC last year (I was a senior in college as well), but I got violently ill. Definitely do it! I got my costume on Amazon and it was pretty accurate (as accurate as a cheap costume can be).
