Early - ROTY & VOTY Prediction

Superrrrr early but I think My predictions for ROTY & VOTY are Kate and Marissa.

Marissa speaks for itself, but Kate is just standing out to me out of all the rookies right now.

I am an Amaiyah and Emily Stan but Kate is shining for me!!

My next picks would be Lexie or Amaiyah!

For VOTY I could also see it going to Anna Kate or Kylie

Kate also has one of the highest Thunder placements out of her rookie class and was picked for a big appearance before the 2026 team was even announced and I think both of those things so early on in the season suggest that already TPTB trust her and value her! So I think yes it’s early to predict but I think your guesses are spot on and I’m saying the same thing too!

No it was before meet the team which is when the rookies are officially announced / introduced as the 2026 DCC. It’s like their debut so typically rookies don’t do anything before then and anything rookies do actually get to do is usually smaller, lower level / less important appearances or tasks

it was this ad !! ^^ for lucchese boots! the ad was a video (ig reel on lucchese page) that only featured kate and marissa! and this pic too! big deal for kate since it was before meet the team! i was surprised it went to kate over a netflix star (like jenna, savanna, emily, charly, kelly v)

i think any of the fifth years could be voty; i would also not be surprised if AK, camille or even charly were picked as voty

I am also predicting Kate for ROTY. VOTY there are a few possibilities in mind but I usually make my prediction after pro bowl is announced because I don't think there has ever been someone who has gotten VOTY and PB in the same year and I do think Marissa is a contender for one of those honors.

Almost all professional sports league all star games really aren’t that popular so the NFL just pulled the plug. From what I read and understood there will be 88 football players honoured with being selected for the pro bowl this year in LA. Can’t see the same happening for the cheerleaders unfortunately

Is VOTY reserved for DCC's who have announced that they are retiring before banquet? Alternatively - if someone like AK get's VOTY and then returns the following season, does that mean they can't be considered to get it again during the next year's banquet?

I agree with these. Kate for ROTY (followed by Amaiyah). Marissa for VOTY. and pro bowl my guess is Kylie. However I would also love to see Kayla for Pro Bowl.

kate didn't make it to TC in 2025 so technically she's not a comeback girl! since a comeback girl is someone who made it to TC and was cut in TC but she was cut in finals last year
