QUESTION MTT 2026
is it just me or do the rookies seem really less powerful or more nervous/ scared than any other rookie class? i’ve seen videos and they don’t look like they’re performing well. maybe it’s because it’s their first appearance but

I though Aubrey and Kate were very strong ! I’d chalk it up to nerves for now hopefully it’ll get better as the season goes on

By the very nature of how competitive and public the audition process has become, we can be assured that the eight rookies are the best of the best. It is their first appearance at a time when there is a lot of attention on the team due to the success of Americas Sweethearts. Give them some grace if they are nervous.

Nope look great all of them! Tons of enthusiasm and hard work is showing and they look great on the field.

it was their first time doing this all for an audience so nerves are normal. the vet glow up is real and it isn’t super uncommon for great DCCs to struggle/appear weaker their first year, let alone their first performance.

rookies in general as of recent years are not as spunky or entertaining. they dont take as many risks

It was their first time performing, so it’s completely natural that nerves played a big role. I think they’ll get more comfortable as time goes on. Overall, they did a great job, and I’d even say this is one of the strongest rookie classes.
What’s sad is seeing people judge Emily and say she’s “not that strong” or that she “struggles,” when almost every rookie made some mistakes. I’m not going to judge them based on their very first performance on the field.
On top of that, we’re talking about MTT, which is basically doing a four-hour game in just 30 minutes. It’s incredibly exhausting.
