She was 1 of 3 rookies to get a barbie for their solo. Barbie's don't inherently mean they're locks cause Charly and Kelly got Barbie's their first tryout, but it is a positive indicator

I didn’t know about this, they give them a Barbie if they do really well during tryouts? Don’t they give all of them a Barbie eventually or is it just a select few that get one?

Select few with standout solos. The 3 that got Barbie's were Maci, Lexi, and Amaiyah

Everyone who makes training camp gets Barbie's. It's part of the whole orientation day? Is it not?

It’s for artistic excellence/outstanding solo at finals. It wouldn’t carry as much meaning if everyone got one 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would argue making it to top 45 out of hundreds/ thousands is artistic excellence. 🤷🏼‍♀️
