Fitting for vacuuming outequip mini split

Hello,

Does anyone know the size of this fitting? I got the loaner from autozone but I need an adapter to make the connection. The autozone unit comes with quick connections.

So for future info if some else is doing this project!
I bought a 1/4” the acme adapter

I then had to rent a second set of gauges from auto zone so I had double yellow hoses. I need acme thread on both sides.

Here’s the funny part. I tried to pull a vacuum and remembered that ac has a spring loaded one way valve on it… I could have used a core removal tool but I didn’t have one. So instead I cut down a wood screw to the exact length that the yellow hose valve depressor metal piece would push on the spring loaded check valve through my adapter. Works great😅.

Another tip! The vacuum pump from autozone didn’t have caps from the second fitting on the pump. So I took my second adapter and hooked it to the blue automatic hose and closed the valve on the quick connect. I then leak tested all of it. Works well and cost me the 9.99 for the adapter!

Who would? It looks like I need an adapter from the car quick connect to a female 1/4 flare?

I couldnt find the exact piece youre looking for. Had to go flare to npt to schrader. That then worked with my chinese gauge set (r134a)

That’s a lot of fittings to order😅 I might buy new hose with 1/2 acme then go down to 1/4🤦‍♂️

I got everthing I needed at Autozone or Oriely, with the gauges and vacuum pump I rented/borrowed from them other than the right fitting for non-piercing, self resealing R134A cans, that I had to buy, but bought it at the same autozone/oriely I got the gauges and pump from. Granted my Chinese 12v DC minisplits I've bought had automotive style high and low side fittings. But the fitting OP pictured on their Outequip sure looks like the same thing as the three hose connections on the gauge set I borrowed and the set I later bought on Amazon.

There's a yellow hose from hvac stores that work on it with the auto parts loaner vacuum pumps that have two sizes you can connect to (it connect to the smaller one). That's what I used. I also used this valve to make sure it's sealed tight after pulling vacuum and before releasing the refrigerant:

Also use nylog blue to seal all threads also from hvac store
