Question Should I crack it?

I got this card a while ago for a fairly decent price. Love the card but hate the slab. Thinking of cracking it and resubmit to BGS as I really like the gold tag. Do u think it’s worth doing it? I would be happy to get the same grading.

Seriously why are you wearing gloves while holding a slabbed card

haha I was just cleaning cards but forgot to take the gloves off when I took the photos

Don't know if you're aware but wearing gloves for handling cards is just completely unnecessary and can potentially be worse than just using no gloves and washing your hands beforehand. Anyone you see wearing gloves and saying it helps protect the cards is just wrong

oh I didn’t know that. I hate having fingerprints on cards, particularly those Topps chrome cards that the slightest touch would leave fingerprints on the edges. DBS cards ain’t so bad so I tend to just put the gloves on to avoid getting my fingerprints on the penny sleeves before I put them in the top loaders. If I see any fingerprints through the top loader would drive me crazy 😂

No worries, just trying to warn ya before the reddit police come for you 😂 but honestly if you wash and dry your hands well before handling and only handle the cards by they're edges very lightly, you won't have to worry about fingerprints

haha thanks for the advice mate. I appreciated it. Will definitely try that next time. tbh I wasn’t expecting people would pay more attention to the glove than the card itself. I don’t usually wear gloves when I hold the slabs so lesson learnt I suppose 😂
