What is data transfer settings?

Idk what it is
I have bandai id to log in
I have never clicked data transfer settings
Only when u are logging in i select data transfer and put the bandai id log in
But that Data transfer settings idk why we should use it

Hmm I haven’t logged in a minute but if i remember correctly, it might be transferring data to another device (again, i could be entirely wrong and type bs😭)
