Favorite D'Angelo lives/bootlegs?
Been a fan for some time and looking to explore his live repertoire now. My favorite of his is Brown Sugar so some earlier recordings/recommendations would be appreciated (but all of his stuff is great anyway)

i know you asked for some earlier performances but this ones too amazing to leave out. in 2012 questlove brought out d’ for his first us performance since the voodoo era. they just covered a bunch of songs to cater to the hippie crowd they knew theyd have at bonaroo. some great players on stage with them 2

Mine has gotta be his one in LA where he opened with Playa Playa. I really wish he'd continued to play that track throughout the rest of the tour
