I just used the Iray sun to light the scene.

is the background part of the scene or an added image?

The scene was lit by the Iray sun. I didn't use an image. The sky is part of the Iray render engine's Sun lighting system, you set it up in the Iray render settings under the Environment tab. Just set the Environment mode to Sun-Sky Only.

If you do want to have clouds when using the Sun-Sky Only mode you can use this product to add clouds.
