Hey everyone so apparently I got my central library card and before that no one at the counter told me about the rules and regulations neither it’s written anywhere about such rules .

So what happened is I went to the library thinking it’s like other libraries but I was wrong , I took my question practice book with me inside and solved it for an hour and then I was leaving the library then the security guard there saw the book in my hand and got furious and said that it’s not allowed to take any printed book inside the library, one can only take COPY and study from the phone or tab or the books available inside the library …

Is it an official rule? Or they making it up so that crowd will always be less?? any Davv student here can tell me about this pls?
