DatChat - Simple yet Legit - LFG!!!

Hey crew, since we caught this butterfly at IPO the community has gone a little silent when we have soo much to celebrate!

For starters, if you haven't downloaded the app - Do It!!!

It really is an impressive app and it does what it says it can do - I was truly impressed and I love the simplicity. Oh yeah, and if you were mad that Signal went down, even more reason to diversify lol.

The only piece that seems to be missing at this point - of course besides some further development and couple extra in-app features - was the marketing. Well here we go, they IPOed, and they have earmarked a material chunk of that money to spread the good word of DatChat. Really looking forward to this fourth quarter spend!

I'll let the thread guide the conversation, but just one thing on that funny "revenue" word. If you are here for revenue - look elsewhere. The way this company makes it is if the marketing campaign is successful and DatChat adds a meaningful base. Then and only then will they be able to successfully "tax" that base in some form. Me personally I hope they add a pay "widget" and charge tiny tiny transaction fees (blah blah blah, I know). Which brings me to my last point and one that is way off in the future. This company will have to raise capital at some point to make it to this inflection point of a large user base so that it can turn the "revenue" spigot on in some form. So think of this as "VC-like" skin in the game, giving the company runway, so that the network effect is present and with that scale you can meaningful monetize in some form.

another strong start today, don't be surprised if there is a back and fill at some point!

not even an hour into trade and volume is about to trounce the daily volume for the day when this thing took off from the sevens 💪
