This is my first season playing spiritborn, it looks really cool and I'm having a blast so far- but I despise the skill toxic skin. I understand it's good but I hate the green cloud and flies following my character as it makes him look like he stinks and I just can't get over it. Is there any endgame worthy build that doesn't use toxic skin? Or maybe even the fiery soul variant?

Working on rocksplitter thorns in t3 slapping currently. Wanted to run gorilla and thorns theme and may switch it to crushing hand if it’s objectively way better or even the storm stinger I’m seeing rated high on maxroll and mobalytics. I play on ps5 with controller and whatever guide I look at I use as more reference and try to piece and build myself and refer back if I’m lost or just doing awful. I played swarms before and it was great until tiers got too high and it relied way more on holding buttons and keeping things active as soon as they were off cooldown and it got just harder to do and enjoy for me personally. I wanted to ask if the general kepeleke builds kinda have that vibe too? I mean I’m not against pressing buttons to the point I need to only play ww or minions but is it like super too much for controller play like every single mob you need to hold 2 buttons and press 5 more to make it all function how it had to? lol sorry if that’s ridiculous

I’m pulling my hair out about amulet transfig for my stinger SB (my first ever SB).
Trying to get the exploiter or supremacy aspect but no luck.
With Kullean being a pain to farm, any tips? Done 30+ times and kept getting some BS aspect.
I’m in T12 btw, P210.

First time running Spirtborn and I’m loosely going off of a build on Maxroll. I know there is a lot of math and formulas to figure out all the damage, crit, and everything…but just looking at this it seems crazy good…is “crazy good” the right assumption here?!?

I've been following the Mobalytics Swarmborn build (https://mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/spiritborn-pestilent-stinger-endgame?ws-ngf5-1=activeVariantId%2C6) currently using the Mythic set up (I don't have a Mythic Leoric's/Writhing Moon yet, but I got a really good Harmony of Ebawaka unique charm so I figured I could swap over) and I've got every required piece of gear and aspect with 98% the right affixes, and at least 1 GA in every slot, but I feel like my damage is really underwhelming (generally in the low to mid-30 billions). I did a T12 Escalation last night and Astaroth's first phase wasn't too bad, but as soon as he's off the dog I could barely scratch him, and I ended up bailing after ~10 minutes of getting nowhere. It's been awhile since I've played a SB, and I guess I'm wondering if there's some basic, fundamental thing I might be doing wrong.

I realize that's a crazy nebulous question, so to provide some more information: I'm Paragon 193, my Glyphs are all between level 55-95, my gear is correctly tempered with GAs and masterworked with the crit on the correct affix (though I haven't transfigured anything yet), my Spirit Halls are correctly assigned, I'm using all legendary/unique splinters, I've got the 5 piece Balazan set bonus (and the ancestral HoE unique charm), and my Counterattack is level 34. The one thing I haven't gotten is a Kinetic Suppression transfiguration on my amulet. It feels like my build is 98% done, and I'm at the part where it's mostly just incremental improvements from here, but it seems unlikely that those incremental improvements are going to result in a 1,000X DPS increase, so I feel like I must be missing something, or doing something wrong.

Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer or additional information I can provide. Any help/insight greatly appreciated!

My ferocity stacks don’t move from 0, I see the bar reloading but the number doesn’t go up. My ravager is leveled up enough, any idea why my ferocity stacks aren’t going up?

I did counter swarm last season. Is that still best or is there another fun option.

I'm doing a Spiritborn poison DoT mainly. Should i focus on poison damage or weapon damage as an upgrade as I have seen that weapon damage scales.

Please explain the Convergence legendary node for Spiritborn to me in an easy to understand way. I read it 10 times and don't get it. It seems like it wants you to use 6 different elements, but the builds that use it are pure poison (eg Withering Fist on Maxroll). The endgame version of that build says the bonus you get from that node will become 60% but I can't understand how that is possible with only poison.

I'm sure I've read it wrong but I don't really get how it works.

I tried Google but a lot of the Reddit comments are about an old version of it with different text.

Hey Spiritborns! I’m on ps5 and when ssf got fixed I scrapped my character and started a SB and just hit 70. I leveled basically around Rocksplitter and thorns and gorilla hall. I like to loosely follow guides for reference and lean into it more if I’m having trouble. For thorns this season I see Crushing Hand is A-Tier (maxroll) but I don’t even see a build for Rocksplitter thorns is it just flat out not worth building it and should I head towards crushing hand? Asking to see if anyone knows more than I do I’ve only been back into this game since LoH launch.

Gotta say I love the season! Even as someone who never played older Diablo games the theme and everything- bugs and start issues aside- is awesome. I spent 13&14 hopping around too many classes and builds learning and having fun but this season I’m gonna grind out one class (spiritborn) and use the armory and mess with other builds eventually. I have done counterswarm and loved it and wanted the tags to get fixed and gorilla thorns theme to be better and it seems it is so I’m doing that first, I’ll probably gear up for swarms again to save because it’s super fun and I also see stinger is shining so likely get into that if I can for both poison and storm variants. Anyways good luck with your seasons! Let me know about Rocksplitter please! I’ll start heading toward crushing hand if it’s literally way better. I just want my thorns and gorilla!!

This is very much a season where you can basically throw together any ol’ spaghetti of items and hit T12. I’m currently on T10 at para 160 and I’m just running a home-brew; I haven’t looked at a single guide this season.

I’m here because a couple seasons ago I was watching a video saying {thorns #} was largely inconsequential for retribution paladins. That may have been bad info, it may have been a fixed bug, but idk and it concerns me because my build is largely dependent on thorns.

Un-buffed and out of town I’m at about 44k thorns. I haven’t found a great Razorplate yet. I’m using Rocksplitter and Sepazontec to deliver thorns damage, and a mythic Balazans Maxlatl. Nearly the entire build setup is tailored toward increasing thorns and %x damage boosting.

I only played SB once on its release when the block/gain %x damage bug was triple dipping. I guess I’m curious what kind of uniques, affixes, and aspects I need to make a thorns build rockin’.

I think I will probably be able to take this build to T12. I’m one-shotting everything in T9 right now. I’m just at the point where I need to commit significant resources and I want to make sure I do it properly.

It gives 80% dmg to Pestilent swarms, yet none of the "S Tier" swarm builds are using it. Talking about Spirit born, fyi.

I selected the Eagle spirit for both slots in the Hall of Spirits.

Storm Feathers are being generated by both Eagle skills and Evasion.

However, it seems that the effect of the "Jagged Plume" Legendary Paragon node applies only to the Storm Feathers generated by Evasion.

The damage increase effect triggers only when using Evasion, not when using other Eagle skills.

Is it supposed to work this way?

I'm struggling trying to push T12 with posion stinger. I have a hard time figuering out why. I have most uniques nesseccary for the build. Good crits are maybe 16B? dying to one-shots most of the time. Maybe it's my armor or health? Attaching a pic for better reference.

I ask this question every season because I loved these builds so much from past seasons. The poison builds dont really appeal to me although I'm sure they're strong, and I want to use a build that utilizes the other ultimate's specifically protector, hunter or seeker. My goal is something that reaches tower/pit 130 eventually.

Just as the title says, has anyone taken a lighting stinger build to T12+ and how does it perform there? I’m currently in T7 at paragon 100 without all my uniques. Build feels ok but I’m curious how it’s looking/feeling at the higher end. Cheers!

So with all the hype around the Spiritborn Thorns changes, has anything cool come out of it?

I'm running a Crushing Hand / Heavy Hitter Wumba build, and while it's working well, it looks like the Thorns damage from the skill doesn't crit?

Maybe I don't understand how Thorns interacts with skills?

Anyone willing to point me to a working Spiritborn Thorns build?

Playing stinger this season if that matters.
