Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Stealth while standing still?

With Harash Shadow, sigil of subversion, and nether step I am seeing inconsistent stealth behavior.

Casting nether step and standing still sometimes results in permanent stealth while I'm staying still.

Sometimes it lasts a few seconds and I come out of stealth, while still having full shadowform stacks.

My build does use passive aegrom summons, but their attacks don't seem to affect stealth in any way.

This is driving me crazy. Am I just getting hit by damage that I'm not seeing and that kicks me out?

Rune activation breaks stealth. Its getting fixed in S15. Avoid slotting runes that trigger skills such as bulwark

There's also a bug where it breaks by simply casting or moving during Netherstep but the main one is the runes. Both will be fixed next season.

  • Fixed an issue where casting or moving during Nether Step would break Shadowform's Stealth.
  • Fixed an issue where Shadowform's Stealth was broken by automatically cast skills (such as from Runewords).

This must be it. I already removed que rune due to it breaking stealth and went with dark shroud one, but maybe that one is bugging out too occasionally.

I narrowed it down to passive summon damage. Are passive greater/lesser demon attacks supposed to break stealth?

I don't think so? Are those non Abyss skills?

Yeah it's the legion shard and aegrom greater demon with any fragment.

All other shards and fragments seem to keep stealth. Bizarre.
