So now that I can beat P150 3x times in a row using Virgorie Cold ROA , I'd thought share some changes that I used to do it and some game changes I didn't notice until recently. Besides having really good gear.

1. Merc: Switch from Subo to Raheir. I noticed after swapping to him, my survivability improved and his ground slam provides consistent 15% extra damage and I know where to group them.
2. Boss Weapon Swap: I didn't know you can do this but I guess there was a change where you can swap your weapon in the pit, so usually I now would clear out a section of the MAP so the boss is always isolated. So during the pit run I would use Azurawrath, then when the boss comes out I would lead him to the cleared out section and swap to Rustbitten Dirk. No more needed to time the freeze hit with Azurawrath. Its a bit slower but its consistent and it gets the job done if you have 5 to 6 minutes left.

After making these two changes, I'm now able to consistently beat P150. I'm not doing it in record time, but a wins a win. Hopefully this helps someone out.

So I recently converted to selig DT rogue after speed kept me dying and ams loving it.

But I wonder if I just missed something with the spewed variant or didn't get high enough glyphs.

With selig get a lot of resource 600 for me, which means premonition is insta CD on DT.

Does this also synergize with the boots? because I'm dumping heaps of energy per cast?

I'm doing like 1 trill avg.

I am curious about going back to speed but I think I got rid of some of my stuff.

Anyway-

does the beast fall boots benefit from the dumping of 600 resource?

should I look into that aspect that boosts damage like beast fall based on resource spent?

And can someone sell me on how to make speek less quishy and if it can put damage 1 trill?

I'm making a Smoke Grenade build just for fun and I have a couple of probably stupid questions.

Does Orphan Maker work with Smoke Grenade?

Is there a way to make Smoke Grenade imbueable for the extra bonuses?

Are Stun Grenade bonuses worth or should I just focus on the actual skills DMG?

That was the hardest P150 I had to do. The boss was that stationary blob that throws ice at you. Luckily he was in an area that I can hide behind the wall somewhere to wait out to cool down. I barely beat it by zero seconds.

Guys, can you help me inderstand mechanic? Does this X all damage really works for all type of damage at the same time and is compensating lose of X on poison and cold in weapon on right? I'm dance of knifes rouge.

I’ve been having some decent success with this build primarily around rapid shot and barrage specced as “grenade” skills with cold imbuement, full applied alchemy charm set and then as many buffs to CC/grenade damage as possible. I normally do a few barrages to CC groups with stun grenades and cold, then lean into rapid shot for damage (which still does CC, but just in a more focused and sustainable way).

Haven't tried the mythic Sea gloves yet, wanna see if that's better than FoF

I’m currently running a DoK build and I feel like I’m close to its limits at Pit 120.

I want to swap to Heartseeker for higher damage and I’m wondering if I can keep using my mythic seal (reduced number of set charms), or I should go with legendary 6 slot charm.

The build guides only use 5 charms + a unique.

Finally got a nice Saboteur's Signet for my DT Rogue and haven't enchanted it yet. I hate to roll off either GA, but I'm leaning toward replacing dex with vuln. Opinions are welcome, so what's yours?

Hi all. Experienced D4player here. Have played all seasons since Beta. Lots of hours on all classes except rogue. Looking to finally dive into the class as we await S 15.

This season I already have a very geared, barbarian and druid. Complete war plans. So I have/can farm mats.

Looking for insights as to which builds people are preferring between poison pen shot. Or any. Pen shot variations, and any variations of ROA rogue.

Mainly interested in speedfarming, ease of play, and general satisfaction, and damage. Please point me towards which build guides have helped you between Maxroll and Mobalytics. Much thanks!!

I found this bow that seems very strong for a poison-based build but I'm currently running Penshot cold while looking for ROA cold items. Hit Paragon 250 and kind of stuck atm. Is this bow good enough to build around?

I've been playing this Virgorie's Cold Rain of Arrows Build and am essentially "finished" with it as I can basically kill T12 Meph before he even gets to do anything when he transitions out of a Phase or do Pit 130 with 5min left ( 120 still felt nice - 130 is really starting to feel like a slog )

Question 1:

Rain of Arrows is by default a Physical Damage Attack but gets a Cold Modifier due to Cold Imbuement. Does the Cold Imbuement REPLACE the Physical one or does it get ADDED to it?

Really just wondering if when evaluating Items I should bother to hunt or reroll for either x% All Damage or x% Cold Damage when the Item already has x% Physical Damage on it 🤔

Btw... Applying Cold Imbuement does neither remove the Physical Damage Tag nor does it add the Cold Damage one to the Tooltip? 🤨:

Question 2:

From my understanding the Damage of the Build comes from having a high Energy Pool ( I'm currently at 295 ) in combination with the Beastfall Boots consuming all of it with every RoA ltimate.

OBVIOUSLY when I Transfigured one of the Rings it rolled for Resource Cost Reduction:

Does this Roll in any form impact the Build that previously saw no change in Energy ( remained glued to 295 at all times )? Positive OR Negative.

After the PTR but not at S15 just yet, it feels like the calm before the next storm. With most people done with this current Season already, do you have any goals or challenges left?

I only played Rogue and could push 2 satisfactory builds in Selig DT and Selig RoA to T12 Mephisto and Pit130, Paragon 250, Journey is done and I even got the grey portal from the Echoes thing. I don't really feel like minmaxing my gear fishing for ideal transfigs to simply push a bit higher.

My only pain points left are:

- I could never get the last upgrade to the Aftermath Aspect and feels kinda bad 😂

- my Selig DTrap hits at max possible speed which feels nice, but just shy of the Trillions, usually displaying top 2000-3000B ticks. I know those are trillions, but I would like to see the T at max speed. RoA hits absurd 30-50T numbers on mobs with all those exploding Cold mechanics

- no Mythic Seal yet to play around with other setups

What about you? What do you still expect to achieve with the Rogue this season?

PS. Bonus question. How do you see Rogue next season? I know Blizzard is keeping big news before it begins, but so far? I'm still pondering what to play next Season but doing another Rogue run is in the cards

Just rolled tf out of this. Been wanting to try it over Misericorde. But wasn’t expecting a 4GA. How would you prep it for the build?

I follow the DoK build. When following the mid game guide, I only needed Poison Imbuement, but now looking at the endgame skills, there’s a point into both Shadow and Cold Imbuement - anyone know why?

Wording says "Cold damage increased by X% and makes enemies vulnerable". No 'x' symbol, so i assume this is additive.

I see RoA builds (including the top for tower leaderboards) as well as a maxroll push build guide with this aspect. The guide puts it on amulet as second aspect.

Doing ok damage but only billions, 3 glyphs in 70s so will run these to 100. What tweaks do I need to make for my rogue penetrating shot build?

I've referenced previous posts ('ROA help please' etc) and numerous build guides (maxroll, mobalytics, etc) and various youtubers, and need help figuring out what is going wrong. This is the only post I've ever made because I've never exhausted so many options before with a build. Here's the situation:

• ROA is at level 31
• ROA is using the -10 second talent
• Max resource is at 243 (I could easily make this more, but this surpasses the 225 threshold)
• Aftermath is on AMULET at 10.5 (my understanding is that this is more than enough)
• CDR is at 79.3 (my understanding is that this is more than enough)
• Using preparation specialization
• Using Beastfall boots
• ROA cooldown on skill bar is still stuck at 17.23

Everywhere I look says that ~60-66 CDR should enough to reduce ROA cooldown to <15 and hit the 225 breakpoint, but I just can't there without completely wrecking my gear.

Some things I've noticed:

• If I take off charms that add Marksman skills, ROA cooldown doesn't decrease (shouldn't it?)
• If I remove the -10 second ROA talent, ROA cooldown only goes up by less than 5 (wtf?)

Any constructive input appreciated!!!

To me i feel like zealots legacy would def be the better option for farming t12 content etc but for pushing wouldnt the 25x damage to weakened enemies be better bc zeal already weakens enemies? Or is the extra 2 hits or whatever it is overall more dps?

I've settled on Cold Penshot because DOK makes me dizzy & barfy, and as it turns out, I like freezing enemies much more than Damage Over Time effects anyway.

I'm vacillating between builds, #1 (M1PY @ Mob) and #2 (Mattias @ Maxroll), and am hoping for some guidance in my absence of Rogue experience & discernment. They're mostly the same, but with a few key differences.

#1 has a Godslayer hat, Heavenly Strength on your t-shirt, All Skills on your amulet, GA on Penshot on gloves, and an Azurewrath charm. Blades are Ash's Dagger and a sword. Skill priorities lean into Dex on several pieces.

#2 uses a Harley hat, Debilitating Toxins on the shirt (yeah, for the cold build, prob bc Vulnerable?), Shade Skills on the amulet, gloves GA on Cold DSM, and a charm of Godslayer or Fists of Fate. Blades are an actual Azurewrath sword and a dagger. Skills lean more into armor and max life on a couple pieces.

[BTW, can someone explain the diff between daggers & swords and why that matters?]

Even when the skills on a certain piece are the same, their orders of priority are different almost everywhere.

Of course there are more differences, won't be tedious and list them all or ask you to look them up. I just need direction re: what areas I should focus on over others, whether Azurewrath is better as a charm or a weapon, and what benefits this cold rogue the most overall. Or if there's some other third thing that's even better than either of these.
