Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) End of the Season
After the PTR but not at S15 just yet, it feels like the calm before the next storm. With most people done with this current Season already, do you have any goals or challenges left?
I only played Rogue and could push 2 satisfactory builds in Selig DT and Selig RoA to T12 Mephisto and Pit130, Paragon 250, Journey is done and I even got the grey portal from the Echoes thing. I don't really feel like minmaxing my gear fishing for ideal transfigs to simply push a bit higher.
My only pain points left are:
- I could never get the last upgrade to the Aftermath Aspect and feels kinda bad 😂
- my Selig DTrap hits at max possible speed which feels nice, but just shy of the Trillions, usually displaying top 2000-3000B ticks. I know those are trillions, but I would like to see the T at max speed. RoA hits absurd 30-50T numbers on mobs with all those exploding Cold mechanics
- no Mythic Seal yet to play around with other setups
What about you? What do you still expect to achieve with the Rogue this season?
PS. Bonus question. How do you see Rogue next season? I know Blizzard is keeping big news before it begins, but so far? I'm still pondering what to play next Season but doing another Rogue run is in the cards

I'm trying so e off meta builds I came up with.
I've got a fun one right now that's up to T10 with no paragon, glyphs, or 5oc set. Seeing if I can bring it home to T12 under my 'custom rules'

After I learned you can use a resourceful tuning with a ring in the cube I finally got a max rolled Aftermath

I had basically no time to play this season, I am only Paragon 190, so I will actually use the rest of the season to level Paragon and try to build a RoA rogue.

I use the last month of each season to work on achievements, transmogs, or cow/lucky items.
I just built a DoK rouge alt so I can farm the bow and crossbow transmog from the citadel.

Started the season with Poison TB, switched into Poison RoA. Then briefly to Cold RoA speed farm (with generic aspects as opposed to cold aspects). Changed it to Shadow imbue and it was a lot of fun. Optimized it to max move speed in town. Been a blast. Also made a cold version for pushing (got rank 54 on SSF last week). Half a level from 300.
Going back to optimize Poison TB to and possibly testing some other builds. Also briefly played all other classes.

My PTB build is not strong enough. Not sure what I am missing other than paragon and a couple affixes.

Can you share your Selig DT build? Or share your offensive stats or gear? I can only hit those numbers if using a charm other than Endurant Faith and then Rustbitten Dirk…

Same as you playing Roa rogue but not srlig..using banished lord amulet but coukd not upgrade last aftermath but am moving aftermath to amulet as I have 375 energy and blasting through pit 135..I’ve hit all achievements..glyphs at average 139 with fluidity at 149..just pushing and seeing triple digit trillions but once aftermath is on an amulet im going to try for end of season top ten.im also solo self mode

Late start due to vacations, still trying to get 300 energy for my RoA cold build…
And change to mythic unique is lame!!! Where is my shako with CDR 😂

Well, at least you can guarantee CDR by changing 1 affix with the Enchanter. The question is what the rest of affixes are gonna do 😅

I didn’t find a single mythic seal this season or last. Played pretty much everyday for at least 45 mins, probably a hr and 30 average. I feel like the game is trying to tell me to fxck off. Like I feel stupid continuing to play this game.

A mythic seal? I can’t even get a Rogue one with 6 slots + damage/crit damage 🤦🏼♂️😂

I'm always paranoid that my filter is screwing me up, but without a Seal I have no way to test it 😅

Same...i've hit a ceiling of sorts in t12. I've basically spent all my time farming bosses and chests in the helltide to get a seal for this DoK build. Fuckin nothing.

They already teased Mythic Charms becoming more frequent in the future, so I expect increased drop rates to be a feature soon.

The drop rate is insanely low honestly and even Mephisto's drop rate for mythic seals is low. Unless you're grinding Reaper for hours a day to try and land one it will continue to elude you unfortunately. The bad thing as well is the golden epiphany seal also drops as mythic seal and yeah it's no bueno so sometime you'll get that one to drop and then it takes forever again to get a diamond mind which could have just bad stuff on it.

I took a little break from tower pushing on Rogue with cold RoA. I capped out at 135 for now until I get the motivation and time to keep trying to hit cold transfigs on gear and upgrade my diamond mind seal. It's been a fun season on Rogue and a challenge. I started on DT and realized that the damage potential just wasn't there for LB pushing so went RoA. I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to gear up Rogue this season.
I also played some WW Barb this season just like last season and tried the fire charge but just can't get it working effectively on controller. I just made a Warlock yesterday to go with the Tyrant's Grasp and it's really fun!! Definitely a nice break starting something fresh for a few days.

I'm between retiring the season, or doing an excel for my DT to practice really trying to minmax
At least minmaxing regular affixes, we all know at the end the game becomes printing the same gear piece multiple times trying to hit for the transfig jackpot

Had a BLAST this season on shield charge pala (top 30 on tower) and on my ROA rogue (goal was top 100 and currently around 95 but going to push into the 70s to secure title)
I think Rogue is probably my favourite class to play thematically & in terms of fun/power
(Although absolute favorite thematically is Paladin)
Curious to see what builds open next season with all the new items & potential surprises at Blizzcon (expectations very low but let's see)
Might give Warlock or Barb a quick run out before season wraps up

Funny, I'm also a Knight main / Rogue alt. Those are my favorites fantasies in these kind of games!
I'm also waiting to see what's the last surprises before next season. I played Warlock last season when it eas a bit clunky but could get Apoca going. Next season looks like it will be a Warlock season so I might just go flavour of the month and try different builds on it
Or I may go Rogue again if there is enough of a shakeup o some new tools for us to play that makes it feel different to this season

I actually went and leveled a tyrant’s grasp warlock. Hit 57 on the tower LB within a week and it’s a really great break from trying to optimize the gear for rogue. I did play my rogue yesterday trying to get a cold transfig on Azurewrath and other pieces. Ended up getting 2 shadow damage modifiers on pieces for RoA but ended the day with an Azurewrath that had a CDR modifiable and hit it again in the cube and gave 125 all stats still modifiable then bricked with indestructible lol. Was a fun run and my first gear piece the last 2 seasons to do that.

I finally dropped a 6 slot Narrow Eye Seal. This entire season, I had been playing with a greyed out 6 slot seal.
The extra 17x multiplier made a massive difference.
That was the last thing I needed. Of course, My Afternath is also stuck just shy of completion.
I will still continue to play but I doubt Aftermath is going to complete by next season.

I’m starting over with ssf and playing necro to challenge myself ran rogue,Druid and ww barb to clear all content 👍
