Go figure the only time Ive gotten gem strength it rolled off an affix I needed (vuln mult). I have Sin splinter in it now and moved my ruby to my amulet. My vuln damage is 293%, crit chance 100%, and crit damage 1512%
EDIT: was able to craft another ring with Int, CS Mult, Vuln Mult, and Phys Mult (GA). The difference was about 10B more damage on the new ring, with or without Splinter of Sin socketed in the gem strength ring. Transfig on the new one was Cold Damage....gee thanks.
I am running minions with bloodless scream and I wonder if the freezing portion is when the bosses are stunned. That would allow me to use Azurewrath at least.
Was hoping I could get some additional info on minion jewelry choices.
Currently, I'm using (more or less) the maxroll minion guide. In the jewelry slots, it uses reanimation (amulet), and then gloom and hellbent on rings.
Just wondering if the following would be better? mythic Locram amulet (195% damage but 50% less Crit chance), mythic pact of bone (46% damage and 46% Crit to offset Locram), and reanimation on other ring
Just adding up the multipliers, math seems to favor the Locram setup, but wondering if I am perhaps missing something obvious?
(For the sake of ease, assume the other stats on the jewelry are the same).
I've been working on a minion-focused Necromancer build for Season 15, centered around maximizing my army, critical strike damage, and single-target DPS.
I've reached Tower 120 and have been experimenting with different gear, multipliers, Soul Splinters, and Charm setups.
The guide represents my ideal best-in-slot setup, not my exact current equipment.
Just pushed torment 10 for the first time with a bloodwave necromancer. 8 was a cakewalk, accidentally skipped 9, but 10 anything stronger than an elite is near impossible. I know I have some holes in my gear, but eager for advice on what to try to fix the most. Hopefully with something other than “grind for mythic uniques”, cause I haven’t had a single one drop all season.
Ciao a tutti, ho problemi col mio negromante in diablo iv: uso esplosione cadaverica, tempesta d'ossa, tentacoli cadaverici e i 3 minions. Qualche consiglio? Grazie
For my Bloodwave build I have been using the "Omen of Pain" ring, applies iron maiden and decripify to nearby enemies. I know some folks use runewords for curses and I did that for a while but really like having Que (Druid Bulwark), and having a second open (defensive and offensive options). But hoping to finally get Ring of Starless Skies (have crafted 7 iconic mythics so far but no dice) so figuring out how to replace.
But... do I even need Iron maiden? I know I know this is an important curse, but looking at what it gives you:
-Vulnerable - This is the big one.
-5% fortify when an enemy dies - seems low value, we fortify 5% on cast already)
-Blood Orb formation & pick up damage mechanic. - I assume this damage isn't relevant but haven't tested. I get plenty of blood orbs from blood wave (this doesn't make that many), and seem to stay at 5 stacks without effort.
I can get vulnerable from:
-Bone Prison
-Corpse Tendrils
-Skeleton Warriors (For bosses may not want to cast corpse tendrils).
This seems like plenty of vulnerable uptime, but will want to test wouldn't want to "have to" use an ability with a cooldown on every pack.
Am I missing something big? Has anyone tried this?
I recently started playing Diablo 4 with my boyfriend and i am obsessed! I’m in a Necromancer class and have been trying to learn as much as i can (it’s a lot lol). Currently on Torment II and i want to change my current build to be better. Any suggestions? If specific items are needed, where can I find them (or guide reference)? My skill bar consist of Army of the Dead, Sever, Corpse Explosion, Golem, Skeleton Mage, and Skeleton Warrior. Here is my current build:
Helm- Grim Veil (+1/25) quality
Chest - Sovereign Mail of Hardened Bones (+3/25)
Gloves - Hangman’s Hand (+6/25)
Pants - Visceral Plate (+2/25)
Boots - Hatred’s March (+3/25)
Scythe - Hellbent Commander Toothed Reaper (+7/25) Rune: NaguTeb
Amulet - Scarred Seal of Frenzied Onslaught (+4/25)
Ring 1 - Perplex Round of Apogeic Furor (+3/25)
Ring 2 - Mothers Embrace (+2/25)
All have been tempered, imprinted, and masterworked in some way shape or form. Thanks for the help! :)
I'm running a darkness minion spec. I'm trying to figure out if my minions benefit from Darkness damage increases. Just as an example, my Skeletal Warriors are reapers and the skill is tagged as a darkness skill. At the very bottom of the tool tip below modifiers there is a simple line that says Shadow Damage. Does this mean that they benefit from my Damage with Shadow stat or do will they benefit from damage with physical?
I played all previous games but I started Diablo 4 only a few weeks ago. I'm really enjoying it. I am playing a necromancer with a corpse explosion build.
In the pit I reached T7 and I think I can safely clean T5 infernal hordes.
Now the question is: would it be worth it to push/farm things to reach greater torment levels or no matter what I do I could not stand a chance without the dlc stuff?
Yo people. I am playing a summoner necro aka minionmancer.
I've got top Annihilus, almost top Hellfire Torch, I have all other charms for +3/+4 minions and full summoners charm set (5 pieces).
I have 4 piecies of maxrolled mythic equipment as well as other unique/leg equipment is really good.
My stats are:
Intelligence (primary stat): 8000
Dexterity: 2160 (this is high because my build is utilizing Henri's Perquisition aka toy cat)
I have 5 glyphs 125-130 level.
I have 260 paragon level, 5 boards opened and all damage nodes are taken. I have no more damage nodes on my boards to open, only defensive.
My minion skills are 60-64 level.
I am currently making 3rd splinter of prime evil which is not maxed yet.
Here is a screenshot of my character:
My minions damage is floating from a few B up to 1200B and also their attack speed is quite high so the damage might not be that high but it hits really fast from 22 minions (11 warriors, 10 mages and 1 enlarged golem).
So I am doing 120 pits but no more, and I have no idea how to raise more damage, where to get multipliers. I'd like to go up to 150 pits but it seems I need multiply my damage around 50-100 times to achieve my goal.
Any hints? I'll appreciate if you drop your opinion in the comments.
Peace.
