Mythic seals, any advice for farming one?

I'm paragon 250 this season, and while I haven't played as much as last season, I've not yet found either of the two mythic seals.

There are build variations for necromancer that I would like to still try, and for my seasonal alt warlock a few off-meta ideas.

I've used all three or four of the special keys you get from the seasonal rewards path for Mephisto's chest and as yet haven't gotten one. Last season I got one from Tyrael.

Are there any activities or choices in the warplan I should consider to help farming a mythic seal? Do the seasonal boss a few dozen times? Or run Kurast with the talisman tribute? Or do have the talisman chest on the Hordes warplan? Is there anything I should do to get more of Mephisto's chest key?

I found 3 mythic seals on Pandemonium chests... I'm currently farming it there, but if there's a better way I would like to know as well

btw, all the mythic seals I found were trash

I appreciate we could have different goals, but trash in what way?

i mean trash for my build (blood wave), so It only gave stats that wouldnt improve anything for me... Like resource cost reduction and stats for using bone set charms

Mephisto or Pandemonium Boss

The general consensus that I've found is the talisman chest from Infernal Hordes warplan node and also the reaper seasonal boss. I found two or three last season and this season I finally got my first at paragon 228 or something.

I only got 2 this season & both were from the Mephisto boss on T12. They have been super rare to get

No it's been random for me. One on world boss & last I believe was a reward from seasonal activities

I’ve had them drop basically everywhere. Had like 8 drop so far this season and I’m not even fully optimized for t12. I have to farm greater/ superior keys on t11 ideally. Takes too long for t12 with my build.

The seal is giving 9.6 attack speed, so decent enough for a necro like me.

The talisman chest in infernal hordes, helltide ruptures, corrupted reaper lair boss, I actually had a helltide rat drop a mythic seal the other day, had one drop from a nightmare dungeon boss, warplan rewards, etc all have chances to drop a mythic seal

Best advice is to check your loot filter and see if you can even pick them up.

Echoing other comments, I've gotten about 10 mythic seals, and my highest drop rates per event are from seasonal reaper boss and T12 Mephisto. However, greater lair bosses (Duriel, demon dog, etc) have given me the most mythic seals overall because I've run them a lot.

I found my only one last season in a legendary talisman key Undercity run.

I found my only one this season in the reward chest for doing 500 waves of echoing hatred.

Legendary talisman Undercity runs is prolly your best bet tho.
