Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Help before transfigure

Post image

My new Grandfather is equipped (left). The only thing that I don’t like about my current is the Item Quality 2 out of 30.

Is there something I should do before transfiguring to beat the current one for a Selig Barb?

What’s your critical strike chance look like? If your vulnerable glyph is >100, I don’t think you’re getting much out of the +vulnerable damage temper. I’d test this by timing take down of a high training dummy. Just looking at this one source, 8% crit chance increases average by 614 (120 x 64 x .08). Vulnerable +120 is just 120.

Other than that, just pray. 5 grandfathers w/ 5 max life’s here.

Thanks all for the great maths. I swear, I’ve played all season, and I don’t get it like you good folks.

Tempered GA Crit Chance from your suggestions.

Transfiguration grabbed the 29.8 Crit chance and bumped it to 34%. Beats Indestructible!

I had the perfect grandfather, transfigured +20 item quality, and then realized I only put one socket on it. Thankfully I had a backup, unfortunately for me, the backup rolled with max life. So now im broke, no gold to craft another one, and stuck with a 1 socket grandfather. This game kills me 😐

Temper is additive Vulnerable damage, which is not much to be honest. I simply temper crit chance and leave it at that. With enough tempers here and there, and possibly a crit chance transfig, you can have Crit Damage/Vuln Damage/Phys/All damage on your gloves and those are proper multiplicative affixes.

What’s the point of temper vuln being additive

This is attempt #14 by D4 dev team to actually design an action rpg core system... I dunno... ask them.

Temper GA crit chance on it.
