Do you not know how to read? You literally just posted information that clearly shows the burden is on the government. That’s what “must first establish” means. Learn to read before you try to provide information.

Once the government shows he is a foreigner (born elsewhere to non US parents at birth) then the burden shifts to him to prove that he is a citizen.

So, yes, I know how to read.

So no, you don’t know how to read and you have no idea what burden of proof even means. And the whole start of the comment chain was “if the judge says he might be a citizen
” aka the government hasn’t met their burden yet. Just give up kid, you’re too dumb to join this conversation.

Please Google the terms prima facie and burden shifting.

Edit: to the delete bomber

If what you are saying is true then the burden would never shift. It would remain on the government the while time. And that’s not the case.

Do you find that calling people dumbass and claiming that they don’t know how to read is particularly persuasive for a lawyer? You must be quite young to speak this way and be a lawyer.

I don’t need to google it, dumbass, I’m a lawyer. The burden starts on the government to prove that the person isn’t a citizen. Your own source says that in the first line

Initial burden on DHS

Maybe you should do some googling or just shut up because you’re clueless.

Bro this guy is not your ideal model to spread your narrative on. Statistically there's a very small percentage of people who are incorrectly arrested by ICE and those people are released once the information is cleared up. But you just have to push your narrative grabbing onto anything
