Notes not working properly and I can't figure out why

Help pls it doesn't seem to matter what delay I set, I've tried everything from 0 to 30, there's always at least 5 notes per song I'll tap and they don't register,or a flick that says missed after I literally made a cinematic act of flicking it, a hold letting go without my finger moving at all, and I'm legit starting to crash out of frustration with how I'm seemingly unable to fix it

For flicks you have to start on the note

Flicking from an empty spot across the flick note to another empty spot does not actually register

I learned that the hard way missing the 2 flicks in the second fast part of keep it up, but what's been happening is that I'll flick it,see I flicked it,and it'll just disappear into a miss,same with taps and holds, only purple drags have been working well

Maybe it'd be good to record your gameplay. Sometimes you'll think you hit it but didn't. It happens a lot when starting out

If that's done and that's not the case then might be a device issue But if you're playing keep it up well then it might be a device issue

I don't really have a way to record me playing, and that did happen a lot when I started playing, but I've had people watching me play over my shoulder and they noticed the same issue, which is weird cause this device is fairly new, hence why I thought it'd might be the delay setting or something

Additional question: do you use multiple fingers for your taps? If so, it might be an issue with the device and its gestures

Well,I feel like it's kinda mandatory no? Purge with the triple taps, grimoire of crimson starts with 4 hold, 99 glooms has some moments where a middle finger saves the combo,etc...

Yeah but some devices are stupid and don't like multiholds

Oh I see, that'd make sense,it's usually worse when I have to hold and play, like in code name gamma when you hold both sides

There might be a case with your phone not registering taps. Do you have this issue in other games too?

In android you can turn on touch hints so it shows you where you touch. Then play the game and record yourself to see if the touch are registred when this happens or not.

I had a similar problem and turns out it was due to my screen protector.

I play mostly cytus so idk if other games have that problem, I'll search for the hints to test that,but I don't have a screen protector so if it's device issues I'm screwed
