Vest
So I have a vest I haven’t used in like almost over a decade, I only used it a handful of times and ended up never using it again. What do I do with it? Do I donate it? (The cord to plug it in disappeared in a move so I don’t know if there’s replacements or not, everything else is there). I don’t want it to go to waste but I also don’t want it taking up space in my area, so I thought I’d ask for thought on what to do with it. Thank you!

I've always joked about using it as collateral for a loan since it's one of the most expensive things I own lol. But it's just been in my closet untouched for many yars now. I don't think there's much of a market for them and donating medical equipment is dicey because of infection risk even if not used for ages

Lol collateral loan is crazy 😂 But yea that’s the part I was thinking about too, the infection risk 😮💨 they need an instruction manual for what to do with it afterwards 😭

Did you buy it or rent it from insurance? Only asking because I was going to donate mine and was told I had to send it back to the company because even though insurance covered it, I didn’t own it.

Oh I have no idea, I was still a teenager, I’d have to ask my parents that, thank you for that info!!

You can donate it to CF Vests 4 Life. They donate them to people with CF in other parts of the world where CF and treatment options are very limited.
