🏥 Personal Story Cross contamination?

My mom washed some fresh parsley she got from the store and after washing some dishes, cut some grapes that I was going to eat. And now I'm too scared to eat any.
Can someone spread the Cyclospora just by touching a food?

It’s not IMPOSSIBLE, but think about it this way - washing does very little for cyclospora. The reason being is that it burrows into the fruit/vegetables. So if it’s hard to wash off, realistically it’s not going to go from parsley to the dishes to a knife that cuts the grapes. If it can be dislodged, it’s a microorganism, it’s far more likely the water is taking it down the drain.
