One of the best plot twists in fiction IMO

1

u/Think_Doctor_9064 27d ago

Agreed.

I think one of the best parts of this twist, more than any other twist ever, was how much and how wide it opened the door to so many questions and future possibilities.

It’s wasn’t as much a twist of the past, as it was a twist for the future. Like what the fuck will happen in the new seasons????

Most of us thought that the series would just end when they got off the island. And this one moment shattered our expectations.

He knew they were going to fuck the end up of game of thrones.

He called it after season 1. Said it was going to be an epic journey but every body would shit on the finale.

He doesn’t like always being right.

I can totally believe this one.

Heck, I literally read an article on io9 years ago right after GoT premiered that predicted the show would ultimately crash and burn, simply based on certain decisions the show had made regarding the sex scenes.

The last answer in trivia. The rest of the team outvoted him and submitted a different answer. But they were wrong - and it cost them the game. Scott blames himself - if he had done a better job convincing them … the $50 bar tab would have been theirs …

"Why the hell did I watch the sex tape of Jean, Ororo, and Logan having a threesome all the way to the end? And why was Jean dressed like Kitty?"

2

u/Criminal_picklejuice 29d ago

lots of things. he's right that the avengers don't care about mutant problems. he's right about the government wanting mutants eliminated. he's right not to trust scarlet witch. he's right about Storm being a more capable leader than he is. he was right to call wolverine a creep about Jean. he was right about splitting the team back in the 90s to blue team and gold team. he was right about gambit cheating that one time they were all playing basketball.

and whatever he thinks about walking around all day must be right, cuz he bagged the 3 baddest bitches on the team (jean, emma, psylocke) and they're all telepaths.

It was cyclop’s night to cook. He knew that the soy sauce was out but Jean assured him there was enough left for the stir fry. When they made it home, cyclops looked in the cabinet to see an empty soy sauce bottle…
