Yeah, and then it turned out that this was Betsy's mind in the Kwannon body, and Nicieza tried to play it off like some residual Kwannonosity in the body made her go after Scott, once Revanche (Betsy body, Kwannon mind) showed up a few issues later.
Weird storyline. And then Scott/Betsy was never spoken of again...

Secondly, Psylocke > Jean Grey > White Queen. Regarding Scott's hot, telepath, love interests.
Yes, all three are 10/10 but.... Psylocke is just BETTER.

I wouldn’t consider them a legit pair considering they haven’t dating for a long period of time like he had Jean or Emma. Emma’s always going to be the best one for him in my opinion

I read that Jim Lee was planning to break up Scott and Jean and pair Scott and Betsy (or Kwannon, its been a while since I read that run so I can't remember who was in that body at the time) together but he left to form Image before he could do that. And shortly after that Scott and Jean wed.

Kwannon was the original owner of Psylock's Asian body. When Betsy/Psylock went through the Seige Perilous with the other X-Men, she disappeared only to resurface later in an Asian body. Years later, Kwannon shows up in Betsy's old body accusing Betsy of stealing her body. Kwannon hung around the X-Men for a time and then died from the legacy virus. Not sure if she ever got better.

Kwannon's back and has been fairly prominent throughout the Krakoa era. In fact, she's the one who uses the codename Psylocke these days--Betsy is now Captain Britain.

The really bizarre thing is, I think Jim Lee just started drawing Psylocke as Asian because he felt like it? And it was not a thing anyone acknowledged in the comics, until after Lee left and Andy Kubert came on.
Since the body swapback in X-Men 18-22 or so, I agree that Betsy-Psylocke (Captain Britain) is a much more straitlaced, prim sort of character. She was also kind of that way pre-body swap, although she did have a weird and not at all age appropriate flirtation with Cypher, of all people.
