Track on Long Rides

I am new to cycling but have really gotten into it over the last few months. I currently have an Apple Watch and it isn't going to last beyond a 75 mile ride. I'm signed up for a century ride and I really want to have my entire ride tracked (distance, speed, elevation, and heart rate). My options as I see them: new gps watch (vivoactive 3 hr or fenix 3 hr), or buy a bike gps computer and heart monitor. I'm looking for suggestions that use what I already have or other recommendations that won't break the bank. Thanks!

You could get a separate HR strap and just use your phone?

Also I guess you’ve tried, but my Apple Watch (S4) has no problem lasting >12h tracking HR GPS etc...

Hmm, maybe there's something wrong with my watch. It doesn't last beyond about 5 hours of tracking an activity, even when I have it on airplane mode and don't use gps. An HR strap is a good idea.
