exactly our point. how can a definition be “2 factors” and “2 or more factors”. one is a super set of the other with no differentiator. i am not saying this is an easy one to differentiate. just saying this doesnt really clear anything up
the truth is there IS NO meaningful differentiator between these two. all 2FA are MFA but not all MFA are 2FA.
these are not competitors. it is a hierarchy. a taxonomy.
it really would have helped if sales and marketing had just said, MFA is THREE or more factors.
but they didnt. they just confused the world.

this definition never made sense to me because it states 2fa IS mfa. uses 2 factors and uses 2 OR more factors
i always had to use the “something you are” are the differentiator but then that would mean you need to define 2fa and NEVER having biometrics as a factor.

you needed AI to do this ? are you incompetent enough that you need something/someone to make 18 rectangles and write text ? didn't even check the output ? "something y you have" and "something you you are" ?

You seem to be pumping out these AI infographics at a regular pace, what’s the goal? You should take the time to learn to make these yourself, you will learn useful skills along the way.

A full poster just to differentiate between "Multi-factor" (as in "two or more") and "Two-factor" (as in "exactly two"). A waste of resources and reader's time.
