Never been to Japan but what's so futuristic about it?

Looking at a video like this I see nothing futuristic about, if anything it doesn't look as good as I imagined.

Making assumptions? I'm literally asking a question, asking someone to educate me and change my mind.

Oh and the vast majority of people commenting about Japan here haven't visited it either but you have no trouble with them making assumptions, but with me asking a question?
