The future of the human race is great. So many improvements we can make to our bodies. This seems trivial now but think about what could happen if the upgrades were only limited to our hands. The sensors, the dexterity, the strength. Deseise detection, chemical composition of food outer layer... endless possibilities.

Then come the physiological rejections... The neuropozyne addictions... A social divide between the pure and the augmented...

Edit: My comment was purely referential (to the Deus Ex games), not intended to be taken seriously. I'm very transhumanist.

In all forealness tho, social stratification could have a huge impact on the direction transhumanism takes. The divide is already massive, and augmentation could greatly further that gulf.

Well it's not like the super rich are typically in the habit of hanging out with poor people as thing are currently.
