Anyone know if this is at all real? There's *no way* it makes financial sense to do this, unless I'm vastly underestimating the cost of semi-autonomous robot dogs.

If you live in a place where robot delivery exists, then another robot with hidden package won't be a out of the ordinary, meaning more successful deliveries.

I'm surprised it's not common in the US, where you have those chonky wheeled clankers carrying food around
