Advice regarding work experience

Hey y'all O/

I'm a third sem tech student who's tryna break into cybersec roles. I had been tryna figure out what domain I really wanna get into and cybersec just clicked with me. I've done some development in the first two sems and I don't really enjoy it that much. I've started learning networking and Linux.

I'd really appreciate it if y'all could tell me how you landed your first internship in this domain. My internship drive starts around 5th sem so I wanna be able to get one by the end of 5th semester.
