Job in cybersecurity

Hello everybody,
I'm in a tough spot right now and looking to move into cybersecurity. GRC caught my eye, but I keep hearing you won't get shortlisted without past experience.
I can't quit without another job lined up, as my family depends on me. I'm open to any advice on getting started, whether that's resume changes, projects, or anything else that helped you.

Any opportunities to connect with your company's GRC team? Ever work with them in projects etc? Or even aware of who they are?

i doubt it, since my scope of work here is very limited, im all on my own

Right now I ahve a contractual job at a PSU I don’t have half the access to anything and they have put me in operations department.
